After giving a great deal of thought to the concept of my business, and making sure that my personal interests and priorities were addressed, V2c has focused on a very important issue. We are focused on Home Energy Auditing and ways to become more Green. There is a Federal mandate that says New Jersey must provide 20% Renewable Resource Energy by the year 2020.  In 1999, New Jersey deregulated the utilities, meaning that we could switch providers at any time. Prior to 19999, we were all assigned “the provider of last resort”, which would be PSEG,  JCPL or ACE . These utilities are not allowed by Federal law to make a profit on the supply of electricity into our homes, and charge the full retail price for power . Their money is made on the “delivery”, the wires, transformers, etc.  Viridian Power currently supplies 20% Renewable Resource power, 10 years ahead of the Federal mandate. There is no charge to switch over, no contract, no deposit, or credit check. You simply save money and reduce your energy use.
